The site can be found on a prominent gateway into Thatcham, making the views into the site as important as the views out. The group of buildings, split over two phases, will provide 59 new residential units in blocks of three to five storeys in height. The site is heavily contaminated and so lends itself to basement parking, which has had the added bonus of providing better amenity space above ground. This has in turn created a scheme that feels more spacious than the density might suggest.
